The Film Screening and Final Workshop of the research project “Life Strategies of Young Migrants in Ageing Societies” (LYMAS) will take place on October 23–24, 2025, in Berlin.
Marking the conclusion of nearly three years of joint research, the final workshop on October 24 will bring together members of all four teams to present and discuss papers based on their respective case studies. The programme will also feature keynote lectures by Helma Lutz and Adam Mrozowicki.
The workshop will be preceded by a film screening on the evening of October 23, 2025, at 18:00, at SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA in Berlin. As part of the research project, a series of participatory filmmaking workshop with young mobile persons has been realized and we are excited to screen the short films produced under the guidance of Sezen Kayhan. The filmmakers will be in attendance, and the event will conclude with a Q&A session.
